If you are planning an event at which Scottish bagpipes may be part of your considerations, then please request a quotation without obligation.  Availability permitting, you will receive a firm quote for attendance and playing at your function.  Every attempt will be made to accommodate any requests or preferences you may desire and you will always find a willingness to help develop ideas for enhancing your event.

Any hiring agreement entered into by Pipe Major Waterton-Anderson KSG., is to be secured by non-returnable deposit and settlement is required approximately seven days prior to the date of event.  All cheques for payment should be made out to “D. Waterton-Anderson.”

1. GENERAL
These conditions apply to and govern all services supplied by Pipe Major Waterton-Anderson KSG. These conditions shall override any conflicting terms or conditions contained or referred to in any order or other document issued by any customer of Pipe Major Waterton-Anderson KSG. Any variation or waiver of these conditions must be in writing signed by Pipe Major Waterton-Anderson KSG.

2. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
A deposit of not less than 20% shall be required as a booking confirmation for any services agreed with and supplied by Pipe Major Waterton-Anderson KSG. Full and final settlement of the agreed contractual fees shall be required not less than seven days prior to the commencement of such services.  Where time does not allow for the foregoing arrangements (i.e. Funerals), payment will be made immediately at the completion of the service provided. In the event of cancellation of any such service(s) within 30 days of the actuation of the contract, no deposit will be returnable.  Any change of date made to the agreed contractual arrangements shall be by agreement between the parties and Pipe Major Waterton-Anderson KSG shall not be liable if any changes in circumstances prevent fulfilment of the contract.

4. SUSTENANCE
Should any engagement entered into by Pipe Major Waterton-Anderson KSG extend beyond three hours, reasonable refreshments and/or sustenance shall be provided at the cost of the hirer.

5. VALUE ADDED TAX
Value Added Tax (where applicable) will be charged at the rate or rates applying at the date of invoice.

6. ENFORCEABILITY
If any part of these ‘Conditions of Sale’ is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, this shall not effect the validity or enforceability of  the remaining conditions.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

Pipe Major Waterton-Anderson KSG shall not be liable for any delay in performance or non-performance of any of its obligations caused by any event or circumstances beyond it’s reasonable control.
